Real Madrid manager Zidane has been under serious criticism, following his rather slow start to the season. But for what? The Los Blancos are top of the La Liga table.

Four wins and two draws from the first six La Liga matches, was enough to pull Zidane’s side all the way to the top. As the manager’s presumably team ‘B’ beat Osasuna 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.

Zidane had come under fire, following his champions league loss (3-0) to Paris Saint Germain. With reports having opened the manager’s case file.

However, after two wins against Sevilla and now Osasuna to put the Los Blancos top of the La Liga table. Zidane can surely breath a little fresh air.

Little? Yeah little! The Frenchman still has a point to prove in the weekend. As a tough trip to the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday to face to Atletico Madrid could largely undo his good work so far.

The pieces are slowly coming together for Zinedine Zidane. And a win against Diego Simeone‘s Atletico Madrid side would be a huge statement towards convincing the club of his progress.

Hope?

Yes hope! On the night, Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo were on target, as Real Madrid beat Osasuna. The latter netting just 93 seconds into his debut for the Los Blancos.

Zidane’s ‘Plan B’ is apparently a project worth investing on. As the manager and Real Madrid look to move past tough times, and return to challenging for major trophies.
