On loan and surplus to requirement, Valencia are ready to make a move and end Dani Ceballos’ Arsenal nightmare.
The 23-year-old arrived at the Emirates full of promises and made a good start to start to his Premier League career, earning himself some praises from his former manager and pundits alike.
However, the tables have turned, and after having to deal with injuries and illnesses, Dani Ceballos has seen himself drop from the chain of command, and apparently deemed surplus to the requirement under new manager Mikel Arteta.
According to Metro, Spanish club Valencia would look to end the player’s misery in the Premier League and offer him improved game time if he returns with them to Spain.
Ceballos has featured for just 906 minutes of football, stretched over 17 appearances in which he barely started any. The midfielder scoring a single goal and providing two assists so far.
At the moment, it’s unlikely Dani Ceballos would favor a return to the Capital. With game time sure to be densely limited, and Zinedine Zidane already plotting additional recruitments.
Ceballos is currently concerned about earning his place in Spain’s squad and is said to have informed Arteta he wants out. With Valencia reportedly waiting in the sidewalks according to Marca.
The 23-year-old would however not come cheap, with Real Madrid believed to be demanding a fee with the range of €40 million for any potential deal involving the midfielder.
