Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as a possible destination for Inter Milan winger, World Cup finalist and Arsenal target Ivan Perisic.
Mauricio Pochettino is set to engage in his first transfer window business in as long as possible, and is ready to reinforce a rather deteriorating squad, with a few previous and possible future departures in mind.
However, according to Tuttomercatoweb via Eyefootball, Tottenham Hotspur are prioritizing an attacking signing over other departments and are reportedly interested in sealing a move for Ivan Perisic in the summer.
A deal for the 30-year-old could however prove a tad too difficult to pull off, as the White Lily’s are only willing to offer as much as £21 million for the winger. A bid which falls short of the originally intended transfer fee of £30 million by the Nerazzurri’s.
The former Dortmund and Wolfsburg player is tied to current club Inter Milan until 2022. And has made 35 appearances for the Serie A side so far in the season, scoring five goals and providing seven assists in the process.
Perisic has had multiple opportunities to fulfill his long time dream of featuring in a Premier League jersey, having seen a move to Manchester United fail in the past, and another to Arsenal in the previously concluded winter window also collapse.
