Summer headache, as Chelsea winger emerges a Milan target

Chelsea’s summer just got a lot worse, as Inter and AC Milan are reportedly interested in securing former Spanish international Pedro.

The West London blues are facing a two window transfer ban for several infringements, and are already in a two-way battle to keep club talisman Eden Hazard and English starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi at the club beyond the summer.

However, Sarri and Chelsea would have more to worry about, with reports from express, linking the former Barcelona striker with a summer switch to either Inter or AC Milan.

Like Eden, Pedro has just a year left on his contract with Chelsea and the 31-year-old is yet to agree on a new deal with the club, despite hinting he would be happy to stay.

“I’ve always said I’m happy here with my team-mates,” He said.

“I am happy with them, the supporters, the city, it’s good – but you never know.”

Pedro has found the net of 37 occasions ( 9 in the season), and provided 23 assists ( 3 in the season) in 173 appearances for Chelsea since joining the club for £24.30m in 2015.

Chelsea would be hoping to hold on to as many key players as possible, with Eden Hazard, N’golo Kante, Callum Hudson-Odoi and now Pedro topping the list.

The Blues would however be eased the stress, having signed American Christian Pulisic back in January in a deal worth £57m. With the winger expected to join up with his new teammates in the summer, and is set to nail down an instant starting place, as a few names are expected to exit the Stamford bridge.
