Herrera, 29, is out of contract at the end of the season, and has reportedly been in talks with the French giants – who he is now expected to join on a free transfer according to TheSun.
PSG have concluded French midfielder Adrien Rabiot would be leaving the club at the end of the season, and are prepared to offer as much as £150,000 a week salary over three years to lure Ander Herrera out of Old Trafford in the summer.
The former Spanish international, signed for Manchester United in a £32.40 million deal from Atletic Bilbao in 2014. And despite enduring turbulent times under former Manager Jose Mourinho periods before his eventual sack, Herrera has finally returned to being a regular name on the team sheet under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 29-year-old has scored an assisted three times in 25 appearances for the red devils this season. However with a new deal yet to be agreed with the former Real Zaragoza player, PSG are lurking in the dark waiting to snatch the midfielder from Manchester United.
The red devils have also seen contract talks for David De Gea stalled in recent times, and are expected to offer the PSG target a new deal once terms have been agreed for the goal keeper. With Herrera having previously revealed his desire to remain at Manchester United should a new deal be offered.
