Real Madrid are reportedly willing to offer on loan midfielder James Rodriguez in a player plus cash deal for French world cup winner Paul Pogba according to DonBalon.
Paul, 26, has been linked to Real Madrid in the past, following a bust up with former coach Jose Mourinho. However, the tides have turned, but despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer providing the supplements needed by the midfielder, new Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane seems to have pointed out the Frenchman and has reportedly ordered for the process of negotiations to begin if possible.
According to the reports, Florentino Perez is set to offer James Rodriguez who is worth a certain €70m plus €50m in an attempt to price out Paul Pogba.
However, Man United are less interested in bearing the burden of a non target in James Rodriguez, and would rather have Perez offer Gareth Bale plus €50m for Paul. Problem is, Real have set Bale’s departure at €120 million.
Despite the interest, Manchester United are keen on holding Paul Pogba – who has scored 14 and assisted 11 – beyond the current campaign, and Ed Woodward is ready to pull the strings to ensure Pogba doesn’t leave at the end of the season.
