Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur and Everton will reportedly go head on in the race for Barcelona’s Brazilian forward Malcom in the summer window.
Malcom, 22, has found himself in a sale checkmate situation, after the right-winger moved to Barcelona from Bordeaux in the previous summer window, despite having been confirmed by Roma before Barça hijacked the deal.
Fast forward to nearly a year later, and Malcom has only succeeded in securing 534 minutes of football at the Camp Nou in 15 appearances for the club, and is now been linked with a Premier League switch at the end of the season.
Tottenham Hotspur and Mauricio Pochettino are finally cleared to sign a few new names, and are set to compete with Everton for the Brazilian’s signature.
Malcom is tied to Barcelona until 2023, and won’t come cheap for either team, as the Catalan club are demanding for a fee of around €50 million for a player whom they signed for €41m in the summer of 2018.
Elsewhere, Calciomercato also reports Serie A side Inter Milan could join in on the race for Malcom, but only on the condition that they qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season
