Series of losses, have left Tottenham Hotspur in a four-way battle to finish in top four and qualify for the Champions League next season.
Spurs sit fourth on the Premier League table, two points less than Chelsea on 64 & 66, and a point more than Arsenal who has racked up 63 points. Manchester United are further down the log but not far-fetched at 6th on 61 points.
Tottenham Hotspur have only a slight chance of lifting the Champions League trophy, despite a goal lead to quarter-final opponents Manchester City.
And Pochettino has revealed the white Lily’s aren’t favourites to join City and Liverpool in the Champions League via the Premier League either. But is quite certain their ‘belief’ and ‘confidence’ is enough to best the rest.
“Watching the past few years, I don’t believe we are favourites,” He said.
“I think we are below them, but in our belief and our confidence maybe we are above them. We trust in ourselves and we are confident we are going to get into the top four.
“Of course it is going to be tough and it’s so exciting and amazing for everyone, for us not so much.”
