Norwich 1-3 Manchester United: Ole’s back on the wheel?

Manchester United claimed their second away win in a row, as the red devils beat Premier League opponents Norwich City at the Carrow Road on Sunday.

Ole finally seems to be getting it right, having drawn at home to League leaders Liverpool, and winning the next two games away from home.

It could have been worse for the hosts, who had Tim Krul to thank for saving them the disgrace. The goalkeeper making two wonderful penalty saves, but couldn’t prevent his side from losing 3-1 on the night.

Scott Mctominay, Marcus Rashford, and Anthony Martial were all on target. Martial and Rashford salvaging themselves, after they had both missed a penalty earlier.

Manchester United may have won 3-1 on the night, but it was the fine display that got fans gushing in happiness. As the red devils seemed rather confident and impressive at the Carrow Road.

Scott Mctominay got the red devils off to a flying start, as the Scotland International’s effort marked United’s 2000th goal of the Premier League era – making them the first to do so.

Rashford then finished off a classic counter-attack, as the striker made amends after missing a penalty earlier on.

Anthony Martial was the next to make amends, as the Frenchman finished cooley beyond Tim Krul, who had also brilliantly saved his penalty shortly before the break.

Manchester United would, however, falter on the night, as a mistake from Scott Mctominay provided Onel Hernandez with the opportunity to grab a late consolation goal.

The goal would matter little, however, as Manchester United finished comfortably, marking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first Premier League away win since February.

Fans would be hopeful, United carry on with the impressive performance, as the red devils travel to Stamford Bridge for a round of 16 League cup fixture against Chelsea on Wednesday.
