Mexican forward Hirving Lozano is currently in Naples for a transfer to Italian giants S.S.C Napoli in a deal rumored to be around $46 million.

Lozano who played in almost every game for Mexico at the world cup in Russia, is set to begin a new career with the Partenopei.

The 24-year-old has been rumored to have been wanted by the West London side, Chelsea FC. With his exit set to pave way for the development of dutch forward Cody Gakpo, who has been coming in as a substitute for the PSV Eindhoven star man.

The deal would see the former Pachuca star become the first Mexican forward to play at the Sao Paolo. 

Hirving Lozano who is already in Naples alongside super agent, Mino Raiola to undergo a medicals, may not feature for the Carlos Ancelotti tutored Napoli side yet, as he was sidelined for an injury following the clash between PSV Eindhoven and Ado Den Haag.

Lozano who started his senior career at his boyhood club Pachuca FC, moved to Eredivise side PSV Eindhoven in 2017. Spending two seasons with the dutch side in which he won an Eredivise title and was a finalist for the KNVB cup in 2018.

Having scored a total of 34 goals in his time with the dutch side, Hirving Lozano looks to replicate and even make better his record as he moves to a new challenge in the Serie A.
