Mauro Icardi is reportedly preparing a legal action to terminate his Inter Milan contract due to ‘mobbing’, according to reports.
Mauro Icardi has been deemed surplus to requirements by manager Antonio Conte, with the new boss seemingly interested in securing a new forward, preferably Man United’s Romelu Lukaku.
The Argentine striker [Icardi], is however refusing to leave the club for his various suitors, and will only explore the possibility of joining Juventus – which at the moment seems infeasible – if he decides to leave the San Siro.
Newspaper La Repubblica however, suggests Icardi and his wife Wanda Nara, who also acts as his agent, are lining up a potential court case against the club.
With Football Italia, revealing the striker could sue Inter for ‘mobbing’ – a legal term referring to bullying that forces someone out of the workplace through intimidation and isolation.
The report also reveals that, should Icardi and Wanda Nara table the case, and eventually win, ‘It’d effectively allow him[Icardi] to leave as a free agent immediately, even though his contract at San Siro runs to June 2021.
However, it’s not as easy as the report suggests, and Icardi would very well understand that the case could ring him deeper and make matters worse between him, inter and the club faithfuls.
