Manchester United are prepared to pay half of Alexis Sanchez’ massive £26 million salary (£13m) in order to aid a transfer in the summer.
Alexis Sanchez has been a blunder since arriving at Old Trafford, and while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have the final say on whether or not the Chilean is sold, the club hierarchy already have their mind made up on offloading the winger.
Sanchez have had a few calls from elsewhere, but his £500,000-per-week wage, plus bonuses have been a major obstacle to completing any deal, and the United chiefs are well aware.
Manchester United are reluctant to sell to a top six Premier League side, and would rather favour a move abroad for the player.
As Per DailyMail, ‘United believe the best hope they have of moving Sanchez, 30, this summer is on loan. Such a deal would enable them to renegotiate an alternative exit route for Sanchez ahead of the 2020-21 season, particularly if the forward can recapture his best form elsewhere.’
Sanchez is determined on getting his life together at Old Trafford. However, having failed to recapture his old form, Manchester United have decided on getting rid of the Chilean, as they look to free up room on the wage bill.
