Manchester United target Jadon Sancho is set to snub a move to the Premier League and stay with current side Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho fueled rumours of his impending exit to Manchester United, as the Bundesliga star celebrated Marcus Rashford’s winning goal over Paris Saint Germain, in an Instagram story screaming Rashhyyyy.
However, TheSun claims ‘Sancho wants to remain loyal to Dortmund and complete his three-year plan to play in the Bundesliga.’ The report also states that unless the ‘Germans insist he is sold, Sancho is happy to continue his footballing education abroad.’
Manchester United are reportedly readying a £100m summer bid for the 18-year-old. With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen on signing the player who is a huge fan of the Champions League football it seems.
Sancho’s summer move is believed to be largely dependent on Man United qualifying for next season’s Champions League and Dortmund obviously agreeing a deal with the interested party.
If the reports are anything to go by, then Dortmund have all the cards to play when the summer window opens. Manchester United will be hopeful a Champions League football and a £100m transfer fee will do the trick, but should Dortmund reject the offer? Then the door is closed for Sancho and the Premier League for at least one more season, as the winger is unlikely to force his way out.
With the UCL campaign for the season over for Borussia Dortmund after losing to Tottenham Hotspur. Sancho has now turned his attention to winning the Bundesliga title with his side currently level on the League table with reigning Champions Bayern Munich on 54 points.
