Manchester United have reportedly rejected Inter Milan’s offer of Ivan Perisic plus cash for Romelu Lukaku according to reports.
Romelu Lukaku is a top target for new Inter boss Antonio Conte, with Gazzetta dello Sport claiming he [Conte] is so desperate to land the Belgian that he has proposed sending Croatia star Perisic, 30, the other way as part of a swap deal.
Ivan Perisic was a long time target of former manager Jose Mourinho. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t fancy the Croatian, and has apparently rejected the offer. With the red devils holding out for nothing less than the £75 million they paid to recruit the former Everton striker two years ago.
Following Solskjaer’s arrival, Rom has played second fiddle to Marcus Rashford, with the Belgian striker having revealed his dream to one day feature in the Serie A.
While Manchester United will reportedly welcome the idea of Romelu Lukaku leaving if their transfer request is met. The striker is not expected to be a major part of Solskjaer’s massive overhaul and won’t be forced out if no deal is eventually struck between both clubs.
