There are still doubts, on whether a €40m bid would be enough to convince Westham to sell, with Pellegrini having revealed it would take a notable bid to convince the club. However, Caughtoffside reports talks are still ongoing between both parties and United could very much seal their first summer signing under permanent manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer had revealed Man Utd would be spending in summer, but also stated the red devils won’t spend because they have, but because they need to.
Declan rice is contracted to the Hammers until 2024, in a contract which see him earn as much as £30,000 a week. However, according to Mirror, United are said to be ready to pounce already – and can treble his £30,000 weekly wage.
