Manchester United could sign long-term target Toni Kroos for £50 million in the summer, five years after they missed out on the German machine who completed a move to Real Madrid over the red devils.
Kroos, 29, had turned down a chance to join Man Utd in the past, but is very much still interested in sealing a move to the Premier League after watching Real Madrid fall from grace under the guidance of Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari.
The midfielder who signed for the Los Blancos for £22.50m in 2014 is under contract with the club until 2022, with TheSun revealing Manchester United have now been given a huge boost in their mission to sign the 29-year-old.
If Toni Kroos leaves the door ajar in the summer, the midfielder will reportedly have two standby offers from Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain who are also interested in sealing a move for the Los Blancos Midfielder.
Kroos would have a choice to make, with Man Utd set to offer the chance to fulfill his long time dream of featuring in a famous Premier League outfit. While the French Champions would reportedly offer the German star a 50 per cent increase on his salary next season.
Toni Kroos remains an integral part of the Real Madrid squad, having made 36 appearances so far in the season, scoring only a single goal and providing five assists in over 3000 minutes of football.
