Klopp: I’ll be watching the Manchester derby, ‘if there’s nothing else to do’

Jurgen Klopp will surely be backing Manchester United to return to top form, as he hopes the red devils could do him a favour when they face rivals Manchester City in the mid-week derby game.

Both Liverpool and Manchester City have had to exchange the League’s first place for quite sometime now, and Klopp is hoping to have it permanently to himself, having returned to the summit of the competition with a 2-0 win away to Cardiff City.

United have struggled to influence on both the big and small stages, but when derby time knocks, Klopp will surely be watching – probably ruling for a United win. That is, if he’s got nothing else doing.

Do you? Klopp!

“I think I’ll be watching if there’s nothing else to do.”  Klopp said of his plans for the Manchester derby

“Hopefully I can avoid that, we have no influence.”

“It doesn’t look like at the moment that Man Utd can really…what was the result today? 3-0? 4-0? So we’ll see, City will be ready and we’ll see if United are ready as well.

“It’s a normal game, it’s a game they have to play, we played there and had a draw. But we play on Friday and that’s the game we have influence on.”
