Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly in the running, to replace Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur.
Pochettino is at his worst moment with the white Lily’s, with speculations now mounting, that the manager is looking for an exit route from the club.
However, despite the abysmal start to the season, DailyMail reports that one of the generation’s greatest Jose Mourinho is keen on the idea of replacing Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham.
Mou is yet to return to management since being relieved of his duties at Manchester United. The Portuguese have since then been into punditry, repeatedly stating he would only join a club with the right structure.
Jose Mourinho has apparently taken a liking of Tottenham Hotspur, despite the squad in massive need of an overhaul.
The 56-year-old is also exploring the opportunity of a possible return to Real Madrid. But could be in the non-foreseeable future. With Zinedine Zidane now finding some stability at the club, and Perez likely to pursue Mauricio Pochettino as his first choice in the event of Zidane’s departure.
Jose Mourinho reiterates he’s patient and will wait for the right opportunity. “one that is at the same size and the same level that I am as a manager.” He said.
