Inter Milan are seriously considering life away from the self-described revolutionist Wanda Nara, wife and agent to Argentine striker Mauro Icardi.
Inter are fed up with the war between both parties and are hoping to end the tug of war by offering Mauro Icardi to the highest bidder according to DonBalon.
Real Madrid have always been Icardi’s dream destination. However, Inter will reportedly demand a change between both clubs, which will see Karim Benzema plus a bag of cash head to the San Siro, while Icardi heads for the Santiago Bernabau.
Zinedine Zidane will surely be a bit reserved about accepting such deal, with Karim Benzema having proven to be Madrid’s best attacking option since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure and having shown loyalty to the club as compared to Inter’s bag of problem.
Mauro Icardi’s transfer money worth still stands at €110 million for the striker who has found the net on 15 occasions and provided three assists in 28 games for the club. Inter would however gladly have Karim Benzema who is seemingly in great form this season, scoring 23 goals and providing 10 assists in 46 games.
Luciano Spalletti is done defending the striker, and had lashed out on Icardi’s behavior following a 1-0 loss to Lazio in the weekend, revealing the club won’t take the humiliating road of “negotiating for a player to put on the shirt again”.
“It’s obvious for everyone to see what happened. It’s obvious,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“The way he has behaved, he needs to stay away and others have to play. I think he could have played 20-30 minutes, even half a game but that’s not the point.
“The ones in the locker room need to play. You need to have credibility in the group. If he continues to behave the way he has recently, then he can start to come back in.
“I’ve left players out for far less in my time. You must have respect and behave in the locker room.
“This mediation is humiliating for Inter fans and for those who love Inter. The need to mediate with someone just to get him to pull on the shirt that they love. It’s humiliating,
“Negotiating with someone just to get him to pull on the Inter shirt. What, do I need to email 20 lawyers and ask them if I can call someone up?”
