Talks over a potential deal for Spurs playmaker Christian Eriksen has been successful, and now it seems almost certain the Dane will be joining Inter this summer.
According to the guardian, Christian Eriksen will travel to the San Siro and have a medical early next week before completing a move to Internazionale after the Serie A club agreed on a €20m (£16.7m) fee with Tottenham for the attacking midfielder.
Inter have been in pursuit of the attacking midfielder for some time, but had failed to convince Daniel Levy in the past, following an offer of €15m plus add-ons at the beginning of this week.
However, both clubs met on Friday and it seems all have been agreed upon, and the Dane will be getting his wish to leave the White Lily’s.
Christian Eriksen has accepted a four-and-a-half-year contract worth a basic £260,000 a week that could rise to £320,000 with add-ons.
The playmaker would join the likes of Ashley Young and Victor Moses, who were both signed a couple of days back. As well as Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez who both joined last summer, as part of Conte’s recruitment process.
Inter are currently second in the Serie A, four points behind leaders Juventus, and face Cagliari on Sunday.
