Eden Hazard told he will be more than just a great player at Real Madrid

The perfect signing: “Hazard could be more than just a great player at Madrid,” Rivaldo

Eden Hazard will decide his future at the end of the season, but speculations have strongly linked the Belgian with Real Madrid, and former Barcelona star Rivaldo is ruling for Hazard as the “perfect signing” for the Los Blancos.

Hazard is in no rush to decide on his future, but with contract talks between himself and the club stalled for long now, and his football idol Zinedine Zidane returning to the dugout, seems everything is playing in favour of Madrid, and Rivaldo is quite sure Eden is the missing piece since Ronaldo’s departure to Juventus.

“Hazard could be more than just a great player at Madrid,” Rivaldo said.

“Eden Hazard would be a perfect signing for Real Madrid, not only for his talents as a player, but also as a leader.

“He lead the Belgian team at the World Cup and does the same currently at Chelsea.

“He already has the experience and know-how of taking responsibility on his own and could be an important piece in this transition phase the club is in after Ronaldo’s departure.”

Real Madrid were knocked out of the Champions League – a competition they’ve won for the past three years – by Ajax and the Copa del Rey by Barcelona. However, with Zidane’s return plus Hazard and a few new names to follow. Rivaldo is expecting Madrid back on the European and Spanish trophy map next season.

He added: “He, as well as other new players that be signed before the new season starts, could put Real Madrid back to winning ways in Europe and Spain, battling for titles with Barcelona and other big clubs,”
