Chelsea fear there is nothing they can do to stop Eden Hazard from joining Real Madrid in the summer, despite all attempts to hold the talisman following a transfer ban for several infringements by the club.
Hazard, has been a major transfer prospect for years now, with the Spanish side having failed on several attempts to convince the Belgian to join the club in the past.
However, with Zinedine Zidane’s shock return to the Santiago Bernabau, the West London blues feel they’ve lost the fight to convince Hazard, who has stalled contract talks for months now. And has revealed his dream to play for his childhood idol Zidane.
Following the Frenchman’s re appointment, Real Madrid have been linked with summer swoop for Chelsea duo Eden Hazard and N’golo Kante. And while the former seems like a forgone a topic, the West London blues are confident of keeping Kante who is still tied to a long-term contract with the club until 2023.
Since the arrival of Jorginho, N’golo Kante has seen himself feature in a more unusual attacking role. Sparking rumours of an impending exit, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain currently linked to signing the player.
Chelsea are however, affirmed of Kante’s decision to stay, as they believe the 27-year-old is unlikely to attempt to force a move away from the club.
