If the job isn’t tough already for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United, then a Champions League miss is bound to.
The red devils had a wish list as the season drew its curtains close and each club now looking to ready the squad for a new season.
Man Utd and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would most likely be involved in a massive overhaul, as the red devils look to make some changes to the squad that finished outside the Premier League top four.
However, with the expected lack of Champions League football for next season, Solskjaer would have to cross a few important names off the list, as these deal would prove practically impossible to pull off.
A proposed deal for Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho is already off the table, as the £100m worth 19-year-old is very much unlikely to listen to an offer from Manchester United over Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain who are also reportedly in the chase.
Man United’s crippled state stretches further, with the summer rumours having seen the red devils linked with several marquee deals for Paulo Dybala, Philippe Coutinho, Mauro Icardi, Robert Lewandowski, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Joao Felix, Toby Alderweireld and a few more which would likely be forgone as a result of United’s lack of Champions League football next season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer however continues to stress, that Manchester United could still attract the big names, but will only look to sign the right players. Hopefully, the club would be forced to sign the right minds to follow through the manager’s instructions this time.
