Mauricio Pochettino could be heading to Bayern Munich

The little merry go round in the mid-week means Mauricio Pochettino is currently out of a job and has joined the lot, with Spurs appointing Jose Mourinho in his place.

However, unlike the Portuguese, Pochettino’s resume doesn’t at all suggest the manager would be out of work for too long. With several clubs including Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid all eyeing the Argentine manager.

Real Madrid have sought his services for a long time now, and it remains to be seen if the club will part ways with Zinedine Zidane at the instant to secure their long term target.

Had Mauricio Pochettino been clear about his future a few months back. Manchester United would have probably never appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the first place.

Paris Saint Germain are also believed to be another possible destination for the former Tottenham boss. However, according to AS, Bayern Munich chief Hasan Salihamidzic is a big fan of the Argentine.

Bayern Munich are currently operating with a caretaker manager after Niko Kovac was sacked. With reports suggesting current boss Hansi Flick is only expected to stay in charge until Christmas.

That leaves Mauricio Pochettino with just a little over a month to pick up the Language (German), as it is considered a very vital requirement for their next appointment.

But Caughtoffside suggests, there’s a chance Bayern Munich might not be keen on Poch bringing his own backroom staff and disrupting the structure at the club.

However, while it’s only just speculations. Bayern Munich could look to take the pressure off him, by making a temporal appointment of Germany boss Joachim Low. Buying just enough time for Mauricio Pochettino to make ready for a new job in the summer.

The Argentine presents the perfect resume and could be the perfect fit for a Bayern Munich side who are looking to rebuild. Mauricio Pochettino has already impressed with a young Tottenham squad, and needs no introduction to the Champions League elites, having already taken Spurs to the Grand stage himself.
