Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Juventus star Paulo Dybala, as replacement for Antoine Griezmann who recently announced his decision to leave the Rojiblancos this summer.
Dybala has struggled for game time under Massimiliano Allegri, and even worse since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Argentine is down the chain of command, and would favour a move elsewhere in search of game time.
According to Calciomercato, ‘Atletico Madrid will sell Antoine Griezmann to Barcelona for € 125 million and Dybala would be one of the potential replacements for the French striker.’
Atletico Madrid will be willing to offer as much as €100 million to sign the player, as per reports. With a € 9 million-a-year proposed contract on the cards for the former Palermo man.
Former Juventus player Marchisio is hoping Dybala stays beyond the season and find his feet with the Old Lady’s. However, according to the player’s brother/manager, Dybala is very likely to leave the Allianz stadium this summer. Unless, of course Juventus can promise better opportunities for that Argentine.
Dybala’s underwhelming season for Juventus, saw him score just ten goals and six assists in his 40 appearances for the club. He is however contracted to the Turin side until 2022.
