Ashley Young represents Manchester United's biggest mistake - manchester united, Barcelona, ashley young

Manchester United vs. Barcelona  literally entails the red devils best display, since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge over United permanently.

And while there were a few praises, as well as players to be praised. Ashley Young is definitely not one of those.

Ashley represents everything wrong with Manchester United, as the red devils eventually succumbed to an Own goal.

Young lost possession a total of 32 times and attempted 11 crosses with 0 meeting their target. No player on the pitch lost possession more or had a worse crossing rate than him.

The left back was as predictable, as he was inefficient. The English international was at the peak of a very wasteful display. A rather lack of decision-making, saw United miss countless possible goal opportunities, as Young squandered several cross attempts.

Despite the loss, the likes of Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw put up a fairer performance, as compared to the  left back.

Manchester United deserve more, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would have to task himself with fixing an obvious problem identified at the theatre of dreams, or face a long never-ending dream of lifting a SilverWare in the famous red jersey.
