Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will take up a job at FIFA in the coming weeks, if he doesn’t find any suitable club offer.

Wenger – who turns 70 next month – stepped down as manager at Arsenal in 2018, after 22 years at the club. Since then, the Frenchman is yet to return to management, as he is yet to find an offer than satisfies him.

While off managerial duties, Arsene Wenger has worked as a Pundit on television. Even featuring alongside Jose Mourinho at some point in the business.

However according to ESPN, Wenger will join FIFA in a technical role. Although the role has not yet been completely defined, it will be a very important one where his voice will be heard and opinions respected.

Wenger strongly wants a return to full management, whether at a club or a national team. As he still believes that he can improve any team and win trophies in any league.

However, with no suitable jobs available to the Frenchman at the moment. A place at FIFA only seems right, for a man of his experience and calibre, to help improve football.
