AC Milan are reportedly set to launch a scanthing attack for Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The San Siro is ready for a change, and are ready to offer a massive £300m transfer WarChest to the Argentine manager to aid in reforming the Milan side.

Pochettino has endured a difficult time at Tottenham Hotspur, having been deprived of any transfer business for at least two transfer windows. Spurs have officially moved to their new state of the art £1billion stadium, and Dany Levy is hoping Spurs new stadium plus a substantial transfer budget would be enough to hold Pochettino down at the club, having seen him miss out on lucrative deals to Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Former Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has been tasked with bringing back trophies to the Rossoneri and is set to call time on current boss Gennaro Gattuso’s reign. With Mauricio Pochettino believed to be the right man to head the new project to return AC Milan to the summit of the Serie A and European competitions.

Both AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur are in a stern race to finish in the top four of their respective competitions in a bid to seal a champions league spot.

The Rossoneri’s sit fourth on the Series table, four points behind Inter Milan and only one above Atalanta and Roma. Spurs on the other hand sit third on the Premier League table, 16 points behind Manchester City, and just one above Arsenal and Chelsea who are all chasing the pack along with Manchester United.

Milan’s dream of securing Mauricio Pochettino is already tough as it stands, but missing out on the Champions League could end every possibility of having the new manager at the San Siro, even with a proposed £300m WarChest up for grabs.
