What Is SSC CGL?
SSC or Staff Selection Commission has been one of the most desirable organizations for Government exams in India. It conducts the Combined Graduate Level – SSC CGL exam every year for recruitment to non-technical Group ‘B’ and, Group ‘C’ non-gazetted posts in various Ministries or Departments or Organisations of the Government of India. The exam is held in 4 stages called Tiers. While the first two are online the latter two are offline exams.
SSC CGL 2020 online exam for the Tier-I round was conducted from 3rd to 9th March 2020, while the Tier-II exam is re-scheduled to be held from 2nd November to 5th November 2020. The online recruitment process for CGL 2020-21 will begin on 12th December 2020.

SSC CGL 2020 Exam Dates
SSC has published the SSC Calendar & revised schedule of all SSC exams to be conducted by SSC during 2020-21. The Online Exam for SSC CGL 2019-20 Tier I exam has already been conducted from March 2 to 9, 2020. The Combined Graduate Level Examination – 2020 Tier-II (CBE) exam will be conducted from November 2 to 5, 2020, and Tier-III (Descriptive Paper) will be conducted on November 22, 2020.

Before beginning the SSC CGL preparation, it is important to make note of changes in exam pattern and syllabus. The modifications to SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2020 for Tier 1 & 2 are given below:

The major sections asked in SSC CGL 2020 Preliminary Exam are General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language.
General Intelligence and Reasoning: Classification, Analogy, Coding-Decoding, Matrix.
General Awareness: Static General Knowledge (Indian History, Culture, etc.), Science, Current Affairs, Sports, Books and Authors, Important Schemes.
Quantitative Aptitude: Simplification, Interest, Averages, Percentage, Ratio, and Proportion, Problem on Ages.
English Comprehension: Reading Comprehension, Fill in the Blanks, Spellings, Phrases and Idioms, One-word Substitution, Sentence Correction.
SSC CGL 2020 Result
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the results in four stages after completion of each Tier Exam. The candidates selected in the rounds progress to the next one. A total of 8582 vacancies have been notified by SSC for SSC CGL 2019-20 examination in which 3674 vacancies are declared for the General category.
Every year thousands of vacancies are filled by SSC in Government departments. While a government job helps to build a stable career, it is also loaded with responsibilities!
