About Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test ( TS EAMCET)
The Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test are conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) in Hyderabad on the behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education as an entrance examination for the aspirants who want to earn degrees in various professional courses in public or private colleges within the state of Telangana. The TS EAMCET for the year 2020-21 was conducted in the month of September and the results are expected within next week.
How to apply for TS EAMCET 2020?
The application forms for TS EAMCET was available on the official examination website https:/eamcet.tsche.ac.in/ for an application fee payable through an online payment mode. The candidates were required to visit the said official website and open the portal leading to the application form.
The Steps to Fill up the Application Form for TS EAMCET 2020
Step 1: The registration fee has to be paid through online mode- either through net banking or through debit/credit card transactions.
Step 2: The website will then lead you to the application form which needs to be filled up duly. Special attention should be given so that correct credentials are entered as a revision of the same will not be allowed once the form is submitted. Credentials to be filled include the latest qualifying exam hall ticket number, Group subject of the latest qualifying exam, Candidate’s name, date of birth, mobile number, alternative mobile number, email id, category, stream applied for and payment mode used for registration fee payment.
Step 3: Print the filled application form for future references.
Step 4: Get to know about the status of your registration fee before you leave the website and if needed, take a screenshot of the same.
Documents mandatory for the application of the examination:
Receipt from APOnline/TSOnline center
Debit card/ credit card/ net banking facilities
Birth certificate/ SSC or equivalent certificate
SSC or equivalent certificate
Local candidate certificate issued by MRO
Income slip of parents
Study certificate from class I to 10 + 2
Caste certificate (if needed)
Eligibility criteria for TS EAMCET 2020:
The candidates must have passed intermediate or 10 + 2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should be a citizen of the country. During the application for the examination, the candidate must be at least 16 years of age. There is no upper age limit for the exam, except for BTech entrance for which the student should be less than 22 years of age.
Candidates who have completed vocational or engineering courses within the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh can also appear for the exam. The candidates must score an aggregate of 45 5 for general category students and 45 % for SC/ST/OBC categories in their last qualifying exam to sit for TS EAMCET.
Question Paper Pattern for TS EAMCET 2020:
The question paper will be divided into 4 subjects, that is Mathematics, Physic, and Chemistry of 80, 40,40 marks respectively for the aspirants of BTech degrees. For medical aspirants, the paper will be divided between Biology (Botany and Zoology) of 80 marks weightage and physics of 40 marks weightage. For Agriculture aspirants, the paper will be divided into Physics and Chemistry categories of 40 marks each.
The questions will be in Multiple Choice formats and there is no deduction of marks for wrong answers. The total paper of 160 marks will have to be completed within 3 hours of exam time.
Results for TS EAMCET 2020:
The results of TS EAMCET 2020 conducted on September 28th and 29th will be published on the official website of the examination that is, www.eamcet.tsche.ac.in, next week as announced by JNTU Hyderabad.
