About CTET 2020 Examination:
Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test is conducted by CBSE as entrusted by the national Ministry of Human Resource Development and is required to be taken by such candidates who want to be appointed as teaching jobs in Central Government-run schools to teach student of class I to VIII.
The examination is conducted for two papers- paper 1 for the appointment of teachers in classes I to V and paper 2 for the appointment of teachers for class VI to VIII. In order to appear for CTET, the candidate must have passed the TET examination. CTET is held twice a year in 20 Indian languages across 110 Indian States.
CTET is mandatory for teachers teaching in Government schools under the administrative control of the Union Territories that consists of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadeep, and the National Capital of Delhi.
Qualification of CTET 2020 Examination
The qualification rate of the examination is 1 to 14 %. The candidate must score an aggregate of 60 % to qualify. It is a prerequisite for the appointment of teachers in middle school in order to better the teaching quality and appointment of teachers in the country. The candidate must have earned a BEd degree from a recognized university within the country in order to sit for the CTET examination.
How to apply for CTET 2020 Examination?
Here are the steps to apply for the CTET 2020 properly:
Visit the official website of the examination in order to get access to the application form.
Fill in the form properly. Submit the form along with the required application fee. The application fee can be paid in online mode or by e-chalan method. The application fee for one paper for general candidates is INR 1000 and INR 1200 for two papers. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD, it is INR 500 and INR 600 respectively.

CTET Application Form correction- how to avail the Correction Facility for CTET 2020 Examination?
Candidates can make changes in their already submitted application form by following these steps:
Visit the official website of the CTET examination.
Click on the available link for the correction of the Application form
Enter the application number, security pin, and date of birth as required.
Click on the sign-in button
Click on the “application form” correction button to proceed with the process of application form correction.
Read the instruction and click the checkbox at the bottom of the page displayed.
Ake the required changes carefully.
Enter the security pin and click on the “submit” button.
Review the form before submission.
Click the required checkboxes at the bottom of the page displayed.
Click on the “final submission” button.
The candidates are advised to check the application form after correction as this is a one-time facility. This is applicable for only those candidates who have completed all the steps for registration, including the payment of the application fee. Images once uploaded during the initial registration process, cannot be rectified. It is also advised to take a print-out of the confirmation page that appears after the submission of the corrected application form.
