The Syllabus of B.com
Here is the syllabus of B.com for each semester. The B.com is a three-year course and the first year consists of 2 semesters.
In the first semester, 4 subjects are mandatory and 2 subjects are additional those are Accounts, Economics, Maths/Computers, Business Communication, English, and second language.
In the second semester, students are given more knowledge about the fundamentals of Accounting and Business Law, the subjects are Accounts, Economics, Management, General Awareness, Maths, and computer.
In the third semester, the students are given knowledge in the field of microeconomics and Corporate Accounting, the subjects are
Income Tax Laws, Banking and Insurance, Financial Markets and Institution, Indian Economics, Corporate Accounting-1, and Microeconomics-1.
In the fourth semester, there are 2 groups, group A consists of 7 mandatory subjects and group B consists of 2 mandatory subjects :
Group A: Corporate Accounting II, Macroeconomics II, Elements of company Law II, Managerial Communication, Basis of Accounting Labour, Overheads SPL, The Indian Banking System, and Central Banking
Group B: Business Communication, Marketing Management Subjects.
In the Fifth semester, these are the subjects Cost Accounting, Banking, and Financial System, Entrepreneurship, Income Tax, Marketing Management, and one optional Subjects.
In the sixth semester, these are the subjects Advance Accounting paper 2, B.com Indirect Tax paper 2, Marketing Management, Contemporary Indian economics issue and policies, Mercantil Law II, and one optional subject.
