After the last venture of the Jurassic Park franchise, the dinosaur saga is back onboard for movie and extinct mammal (and bird) lovers. This shall be the third film in the Jurassic World series and the sixth film in the overall Jurassic franchise.

The first Jurassic World was released in 2015 opening to raving reviews. Following its phenomenal success, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom made its way to the cinemas. However, Fallen Kindom could not garner as much appreciation from critics worldwide; but it did nevertheless conquer the box office with its high flying numbers.

Releasing Date of Jurassic World 3 

Jurassic World 3 or Jurassic World Dominion shall be directed by Colin Trevorrow. He had also directed the film Jurassic World. The confirmation for the film came early this year in February. It is slated to be released on June 11, 2021. Given the pandemic situation, production had been ceased at the beginning of the year.

However, with the strictest of precautions and fiercest of motives, the cast and crew have begun shooting again since July 2020. This rebooting has also made it the first high scale film to be shot in the UK during the coronavirus crisis.

Sam Neill has taken to Twitter to express his delight over the returning of the well-loved franchise. There is a possibility of Jake Johnson reenacting the character of Lowery, despite an absence previously.

Word is yet to be heard from some other actors regarding their roles such as Ariana Richards, Vince Vangaugh, Julianne Moore, William H. Macy, Tea Leoni, and Lauren Lapkins.

The Plot of Jurassic World 3

The last movie in the franchise, Fallen Kingdom, left the dinosaurs loose out in the world, and this film shall surely take it up from there. Chris Pratt has reportedly indicated a change in the time dynamics in the coming film. The setting might follow a world ahead of a few years since the last film, giving us a glimpse into a world that has settled from a dinosaur invasion instead of a war between survivors. It has been speculated to be the final film of the franchise.
