The journey of A J and Queen has come to an end as the show has been canceled by Netflix. The first season of the show aired on Netflix in Jan and just after few months, the show was canceled in March by Netflix.

This comes as the sad news for the fans that were impatiently waiting for the next step in the journey of A J and queen. People were enjoying the uncanny relationship between the 10-year-old orphan and the queen. But, the decision comes as a shock to the fans. Who wanted to know was there relationship will go.

The show follows the journey of a drag queen and his 10-year-old orphan partner who decides to travel across the country after the drag queen’s boyfriend steals all his money and he has to start afresh.

During the course of their journey, they form a father-son relationship which is quite entertaining and heart-warming to witness. The show received mixed reviews from the critics. There were also controversies surrounding the show as the maker of the show Ru Paul. He had made some transphobic remarks in the past. He apologized for those remarks.

Why are AJ and The Queen Season 2 Canceled?

The reason for the cancellation of the show is still not clear as no official reason has been disclosed either by the makers or by Netflix. For the past some time Netflix has been canceling its shows after only one season and A J and Queen has sadly joined that list.


It can be speculated that the show has been canceled due to the falling viewership. Although the numbers have not been shared this could be the main reason for Netflix to not continue the show for further seasons.
