Jason Momoa starred futuristic television series See will be renewed for a second season, according to reports. After the season 1 ended on Apple TV+, it left the fans on an apprehension for the second series and its release date.

The good news is, the show creators have yielded to the fan’s demands. The show, produced by Apple TV+, used expensive sci-fi effects for the television. Like the first season, the second season will also be released for the users of Apple devices on Apple TV+

The Plot of See Season 2

The show starts in a post-apocalyptic world where all the present human population of the world is killed. The new humans do not have eye-sight and have no idea of how the humans were before the apocalypse that happened centuries ago or what had come of them in the end. The pre-industrialized society in the show has different apparatuses and methods to “see” what id ahead of them.

The show, with eight episodes, had quite a few edge-of-the-seat action sequences, a very gripping storyline, an impressive cast led by Jason Momoa and Alfred Woodard, and a few savage worship visuals that might remain etched in memory for a long time.

The story revolves around the Alkenny tribe in the futuristic world led by the chieftain Baba Voss (Jason Momoa). His wife, Maghera (Hera Hilmarsdottir) gives birth to a twin who can, to the astonishment of everyone, see. The biological father of the children, named Kofun and Haniwa, Jerlamarel (Joshua Henry).

The show continues with Voss’s struggle to safeguard the children. Alfred Woodard plays Paris, the shaman of the tribe.

Release Date of See Season 2

The filming of the second series was supposed to start in February 2020. However, it had to be stopped in march and postponed due to the outbreak of the pandemic. There is no official announcement of its release date. Once released, the show will be an apple on Apple TV+.
