Alex Pina after his ‘major’ success with his crime drama series ‘Money Heist/La Casa de Papel’, has become the new internet sensation. With his follow-up project the White Lines, a murder mystery series he finds himself to be reaching the pinnacle of his career. The mystery thriller series was first released on Netflix on 15th May 2020.

White Lines is set on the island of Ibiza where, Zoe Walker a resident of Manchester flies out to investigate the mysterious death of her brother Axel, who was working as a DJ in Ibiza, after going missing for about 20 years. It is a nerve-wracking series of events where Zoe stumbles upon certain shocking revelations about herself.

White Lines 2 packs some of the very influential actors like Line of Duty’s Daniel Mays and The Inbetweeners Movie actress Laura Haddock, and several other young talents.

Since the series debuted back in May, fans have been wondering about whether they can expect more of White Lines in the future. After the comments of Angela Griffin and her co-star Daniel Mays, the future of the series comes to a decisive end. Though it is an unacceptable fact, that White Lines would not be returning for a second season, it is the harsh reality before us.

According to the stars of the show Angela Griffin and Daniel Mays, the show has been canceled after a single season. Mays said: “Following the reports in the press over the past couple days and for all those asking me on here, it’s with a heavy heart I post the White Lines season 2 ship has already sailed”.
