Actress Heather Locklear is finally engaged to her long time boyfriend and former high school sweetheart Chris Heisser who is an ex motocross racer. It has been a confirmed event as the couple has already been engaged since the end of April.

This would lead to the actress’s third marriage as she married to Tommy Lee, a musician from 1986 to 1993, and then married Richie Sambora, a guitarist from 1994 to 2007. She gave birth to a daughter with Richie, Ava Elizabeth Sambora, aged 22 years old.

After her second divorce, she was in a relationship with Jack Wagner and announced her engagement with him in 2011, although the couple called it quits later that year. After nearly more than three decades later, Heather’s tender feelings were reignited for her school time love Chris Heisser.

In 2017, Locklear shared an adorable picture with Heisser captioning it as, “My favorite person on earth. 40 years later.” Isn’t it simply romantic!

This love story has its share of bumps as the actress has been facing many difficulties since the last 2 years after being hospitalized, taking psychiatric help, being involved in drug rehab, and even being sued and facing a court trial.

The actress has been reported to have tried finishing her life earlier in 2008. She was even caught driving after alcohol consumption. In February 2018, she was involved in domestic violence and causing physical harm to police officers.

She reputedly warned deputies to shoot them if they ever came into her home again. In June 2018, the actress was again arrested and bailed against charges of battery, a.k.a causing physical harm and later hospitalized under the case of overdose.

The actress shared her feelings post her one year of being sober by sharing a post on Instagram with her caption reading, “Hugs will come later! 1 year sober today!”

A close source confirmed the engagement to People Magazine stating, “Her family, her parents, her siblings, and her daughter are all supporting her and excited for her,”
