Lenovo has now decided to step back into the field of VR that is standalone Virtual Reality with the mirage VR S3. It has announced the same. Concerning the business market, the new device would be arriving or is expected to arrive late this year. Let’s say by the end of 2020. It has collaborated with Pico interactive. The headset of the same looks similar or resembles Pico’s line of devices but it would not be fair enough to draw a comparison between it and the newly launched Pico Neo 2 that has the tracking feature advanced both inside-out.
The Lenovo Mirage VR S3 has some promising features which include three hours of battery life, 4K display, and integrated audio. It was officially announced during the beginning of the year along with educational solution VR Classroom. The Lenovo software that supports it, is ThinkReality which enables enterprise users to publish and manage applications for employees widely scattered in the world.
Nathan Pettyjohn, commercial AR/VR lead, from intelligent devices group Lenovo stated that it is feasible and can be termed as a better achiever and a faster trainer. to be mentioned, it has Lenovo Integrated Solutions Support (LISS) which is a global end to the end service program. Issues can be resolved faster as the technicians and the concerned engineers provide support via a dedicated phone line which significantly works to resolve issues and provide quick access.
The Lenovo Mirage VR S3 has also been benefitted with a Q3 launch window for North America, China, Japan, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Also concerning the price, it has to be mentioned that the exact price has not been officially detailed but it is in the news that for the residents of North America it will be under $450 USD.
