In 2013, Apple released iOS 13. It had many new features like system-wide dark mode, improved privacy features, Reminders and Maps apps, Memoji stickers and many more. There were frequent updates as iOS 13 had many bugs and serious issues. Apple finally reported that it was changing its development process for iOS 14.

iOS 14 update

Although it is very unlike Apple to continue support for the older generations. Yet this will be clarified after the event. 9to5 Mac states that The Verifier isn’t always right. But the Verifier did accurately tell that iOS 13 would be dropping iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 from the update list.

If the report is genuine then iOS 14 will be the last major update for the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPhone SE which are powered by Apple’s A9 processor. Furthermore, the iPhone 12 series should have iOS 14 when shipped.
