Recently, Facebook employees hold a protest against the posts from the U.S. President Donald Trump and the reaction of Facebook over those posts.
WHAT IS THE MATTER ALL ABOUT?
Actually what happened, recently one unarmed black man named George Floyd, died in the prison of United States of America. And there are controversies over his death that why did he die. So because of that protests were going on.
Then the President Mr. Donald Trump posted a message – ” When the looting starts, the shooting also starts.” But the Facebook did not respond to it.
Because of that the dozens of Facebook employees hold virtual protest against the posts. Also they are upset why the company did not take action against such posts.
Employees did not work due to the protest and said that they are taking there day off due to this. They also circulated the petition in their circle prompting others as well to join the protest. However, the managers at Facebook did not respond to the protest by the employees.
In response, CEO MARK ZUCKERBERG posted, ” I have been struggling with how to respond to the President’s tweets and posts every day. Personally, I have a visceral negative reaction to this kind of divisive and inflammatory rhetoric. But I am responsible for reacting not just in my personal capacity. But as the leader of an institution committed to free expression.”
Also, the CEO holds a meeting virtually and the news is there that the company could not find any content that is to be restricted in the posts.
Well, in which direction will this protest go in future is a matter of time. We can just pray that truth will win at the end. As time passes, everything will be revealed. So wait for the time to know about the results.
